We have developed a website for the famous Latvian singer STIRNA
Today another project was successfully handed over – the development of a website for the famous Latvian singer STIRNA – www.stirnamusic.lv, which has become her official resource. This site will become the main resource for regular news, videos, songs, concerts, etc.
Development
Again, the WordPress platform was chosen for the development of the website in combination with one of the stable themes. In order to adapt the future website to STIRNAS’ vision and wishes in terms of design and functionality, an individual wireframe and design layout were developed, WordPress installation, database configuration and installation of several plugins were carried out.
As in other similar cases, Ninja Firewall and reCaptcha were installed and configured for security and Autoptimize, WP Fastest Cache plugins and Smush were installed and configured for performance to optimise all images.
The website was created in 2 language versions – Latvian and English, the content was translated and adapted.
Testing and SEO optimisation
In parallel, it has undergone basic performance and SEO optimisation:
– H1-Hx structure was created;
– Title tags;
– Basic meta descriptions were added;
– Internal link structure was created;
– Page performance/speed was optimised;
– Basic backlinks were also considered
– Fonts were installed locally to improve page speed and GDPR compliance.
– Web Core Vitals, achieving good results in both desktop and responsive (mobile) versions
Project management
During the website development process, we have had both calls with STIRN itself and regular communication with the sprint casts, taking the process from idea to execution in a consistent and logical way.
